The Contract Bridge League of Thailand (CBLT) has been appointed by PABF Executives Council to host the 2006 PABF Youth Championships in Bangkok separated from the annual PABF Championships which will be hosted by China.

The 2006 PABF Youth Championships will be held in Bangkok from 4 June to 7 June 2006. At its coming of age, the PABF's top youth competition expands to include a separate Schools series, to be contested along with the normal Junior series.

The venue of the championships is The Royal Bangkok Sports Club. The Montien Hotel Bangkok offers ample space to lodge all teams, officials and staff.

The Championships consist of a double round robin in each series. The top 3 winners of the Junior series and Schools series with the Thailand's Junior and School teams will be represent the Zone 6 in the coming 11th World Youth Team Championships, which will also be held in Bangkok, Thailand in 29 July to 8 August 2006.
